Elysium

Elysium

Elysium is a science-based nutritional supplement company that aims to promote healthy aging and improve cellular health. The company was founded in 2014 by Leonard Guarente, a professor of Biology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and a team of scientists, physicians and business professionals with the goal of translating advances in science and technology into clinically-validated health products that work.

Elysium's flagship product, Basis, is a daily supplement that promotes healthy aging by increasing levels of a coenzyme called NAD+ in the body. NAD+ plays a crucial role in cellular health by promoting DNA repair, energy production, and the activation of enzymes that regulate metabolism. Basis also contains pterostilbene, a polyphenol found in blueberries and grapes that has been shown to support cognitive function and cardiovascular health. Elysium also offers a sleep aid supplement called Sleep, which contains melatonin, magnesium, and ashwagandha, and a brain health supplement called Matter, which contains a blend of nootropics and adaptogens that support cognitive function and reduce stress.
