Vitron-C
Vitron-C is a dietary supplement that combines elemental iron and Vitamin C to support the body's iron levels and immune system. Iron is an important mineral that helps red blood cells transport oxygen throughout the body, while Vitamin C is an antioxidant that helps protect cells from damage caused by harmful molecules known as free radicals. Each Vitron-C tablet contains 65 mg of elemental iron (as ferrous fumarate) and 125 mg of Vitamin C (as ascorbic acid), which together enhance iron absorption and prevent iron-induced oxidative stress.
Vitron-C is primarily indicated for the prevention and treatment of iron-deficiency anemia, a common condition that occurs when your body lacks enough iron to produce hemoglobin, a protein found in red blood cells. Iron-deficiency anemia can cause fatigue, weakness, shortness of breath, and other symptoms that affect your quality of life. Vitron-C may also benefit individuals who have increased iron requirements, such as pregnant women, menstruating women, infants, and children. Vitron-C is generally well-tolerated, although it may cause gastrointestinal side effects such as constipation, nausea, and stomach upset. Individuals with iron overload disorders, hemochromatosis, or a history of iron toxicity should not take Vitron-C without consulting a healthcare professional.
