Formulation
25% hydroxyanthracine derivatives The bark of Cascara sagrada (Rhamnus purshiana DC.) was introducted to early explorers by the Native Americans. It contains free antraquinone and hydroxyanthracine derivatives (HAD). This U.S.P. extract is standardized at 25% to 30% HAD, or which 80% is cascaroside.
Precautions
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Laxative effect will be transmitted to nursing infants. Do not use if pregnant or nursing. Do not use if you have ulcers or irritable bowel syndrome. Results take 6 to 8 hours to occur. Very high doses have cathartic effect (violent expulsion). Caution: Use only as recommended. Tamper resistant package, do not use if outer seal is missing. Stop use and consult your healthcare professional if allergic reactions occur.
