Formula #77371 Shiitake mycelia (Lentinus edodes (Berk.) Singer) or lentinus edodes mycelia is the immature growing stage of the shiitake lifecycle. It is rich in carbohydrates, protein, vitamins and minerals. The polysaccharide-protein complex, a new peptidomannan (KS-2), and a water-solublized lignin derivative (EPS-3) are key constituents of the extract. This 28:1 extract is standardized to contain 3.2% KS-2 peptidomannan.
