Ferrous Gluconate 240 mg Elemental Iron 27 mg Each tablet contains 240 mg Ferrous Gluconate, equivalent to approximately 27 mg of elemental Iron.

This product may occassionally cause constipation, diarrhea or may color stool black. It may cause gastrointestinal discomfort (such as nausea) which may be minimized by taking with meals. Warning: Accidental overdose of iron containing supplements is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in children under 6. Keep this product out of reach of children. In case of accidental overdose, call a doctor or Poison Control Center immediately. As with any supplement, if you are pregnant, nursing, or taking medication, ask a health professional before use. Warnings: Do not exceed recommended dosage. The treatment of any anemic condition should be under the supervision of a physician. Since oral iron products interfere with the absorption of oral tetracycline antibiotics, these products should not be taken within two hours of each other.
