Lactating Pregnant Women Adult Female (18 - 50 Years) NP 1 Notice: Contact with moisture may produce surface discoloration or erosion of the tablet. Store at controlled room temperature, 15 degrees - 30 degrees C (59 degrees - 86 degrees F). Dosage: Two (2) chewable tablets daily or as directed by a physician. Administration: Chew tablets before swallowing. Daily dosage should be taken after eating food.

Contraindications: This product is contraindicated in patients with a known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. Folic acid alone is improper therapy in the treatment of pernicious anemia and other megaloblastic anemias where vitamin B12 is deficient. Precautions: Folic acid in doses above 1.0 mg daily may obscure pernicious anemia in that hematologic remission can occur while neurological manifestations progress. Adverse reactions: Allergic sensitization has been reported following both oral and parenteral administration of folic acid. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children.
