Description

Gluten Free Pregnant Women Adult Female (18 - 50 Years) Lactating NP How supplied: Child-resistant, blister pack of two (2) white tablets and two (2) purple twist-off softgels. Each tablet is embossed MP 201. Each twist-off softgel is marked MP 802. Rx Only NDC 67112-502-60 Store at controlled room temperature, 15 degrees - 30 degrees C (59 degrees - 86 degrees F). Dosage: Two (2) chewable tablets and two (2) twist-off softgels daily of as directed by a physician. Administration: Chew tablets before swallowing. Twist small end off from softgel and squeeze contents directly into mouth or into juice to drink. Daily dosage should be taken with food.

Precautions

Contraindications: This product is contraindicated in patients with a known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. Folic acid alone is improper therapy in the treatment of pernicious anemia and other megaloblastic anemias where vitamin B12 is deficient. Precautions: Folic acid in doses above 1.0 mg daily may obscure pernicious anemia in that hematologic remission can occur while neurological manifestations progress. To report a serious adverse event or obtain product information, call 877-803-8235. Adverse reactions: Allergic sensitization has been reported following both oral and parenteral administration of folic acid. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children. Warning: Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in children under 6. Keep this product out of reach of children. In case of accidental overdose, call a poison control center immediately.
