Description
Lactating Pregnant Women Adult Female (18 - 50 Years) NP How supplied: TriCare Prenatal Compleat Multivitamin.Mineral Tablets and Omega-3 Chewable Softgels for oral administration are supplied as light blue, file coated tablets debossed MP 101 with a partial bisect through the tablet on one side and as pink chewable softgels. Tablets are in a child-resistant plastic bottle of 30 tablets (NDC 67112-701-30). Rx only Store at controlled room temperature 15 degrees - 30 degrees C (59 degrees - 86 degrees F). Dosage and administration: One tablet and one chewable softgel daily or as directed by a physician.
Formulation
Multivitamin/Mineral Tablet + DHA ONE Chewable Softgel Essential nutrition for the 3 vital stages of pregnancy. Indications and usage: TriCare Prenatal Compleat is indicated to provide vitamin and mineral supplementation throughout pregnancy and during the postnatal period for both the lactating and non-lactating mother. It is also useful for improving nutritional status prior to conception. Small, scored and easy to swallow tablet
Precautions
Contraindications: This product is contraindicated in patients with a known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.
Notice: Contact with moisture may product surface discoloration or erosion of the tablet and chewable softgel. Folic acid alone is improper therapy in the treatment of pernicious anemia and other megaloblastic anemias where vitamin B-12 is deficient.
Precautions: Folic acid in doses above 1.0 mg daily may obscure pernicious anemia in that hematologic remission can occur while neurological manifestations progress. Adverse reactions: Allergic sensitization has been reported following both oral and parenteral administration of folic acid. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children Warning: Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in children under 6. Keep this product out of reach of children. In case of accidental overdose, call a doctor or poison control center immediately.
